npNOG1 Announcement<\/h3>\n

Internet Exchange Nepal (npIX) and Nepal Network Operators\u2019 Group (npNOG) will be officially launching \u201cnpNOG\u201d on December 9th 2016, Friday at Hotel Himalaya amidst a conference gathering of distinguished ICT personalities, Network administrators and professionals of Nepal. The event will have several presentations on current status, challenges and success stories of Internet and Network infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The event will set a platform for learning, knowledge sharing and developing community as per Mr. Rupesh Shrestha, Managing Director of npIX. The event is supported by NTA, FCAN, ISPAN and ISOC Nepal.<\/p>\n

npIX and npNOG is also organizing 3days workshop from December 10th to 12th 2016 at Hotel Yellow Pagoda. The workshop will be conducted in two tracks<\/p>\n

  1. SME Network design workshop and<\/li>\n
  2. Optical fiber network design workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    These workshops will be conducted by senior experienced professionals and will be very helpful for final year Engineering students and aspiring ICT professionals to get practical knowledge and hands on practice. Students will be provided 50% discount to attend the workshop as per Mr. Samit Jana, President of npNOG and CTO of Worldlink Communications.<\/p>\n
